Executive Board 2011-12

The purpose of the New Mobilians Club is to welcome new residents, to engage in charitable endeavors, and to promote the social and educational lives of club members.

New Mobilians opens the way for new residents to meet each other, become a part of a group, and find their place quickly in the community that is now called “home.”

The club has many interest groups in which all members are invited to participate. There are also a number of events scheduled throughout the year which involve spouses and guests.  The main social event of the club is the annual Mardi Gras Ball which began in 1984.

The club has maintained its growth through the years and is now comprised of  200-plus members.  Each year different charities are the recipients of club donations. Indeed, New Mobilians is recognized as an important part of the Mobile Community.
